Paralives is out now on Steam Early Access, bringing one of the most anticipated life simulation games of 2026 to PC and Mac. The official Steam page describes it as a game about “building homes, lives and bonds,” while the FAQ confirms that it is a single-player experience available on Steam with Steam Workshop support for user-created content.
For players looking for a more chill, cozy, social simulation style of game, Paralives is aiming squarely at that audience. The Early Access build already includes house building and decorating, character creation, an open-world town, jobs, relationships, skills, and other everyday life systems that give the game its Sims alternative appeal. The studio has also said the full version will expand the experience with more content over time, including features such as pets, cars, houseboats, and a town creation tool, all delivered through free updates during Early Access. That places Paralives right in the middle of the current life-sim conversation, where fans are also comparing it with The Sims and newer contenders like inZOI.
