Moderation Policy

1. Prohibited Content

Users are strictly prohibited from posting, sharing, or otherwise distributing content that falls into the following categories:

• Hate speech, harassment, or targeted abuse
• Threats of violence or incitement to commit harm
• Extremely explicit sexual content or extreme gore. (Mild or softcore expressions of sex or gore will not be moderated.)
• Plagiarism or copyright infringement
• Content that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Spam, scams, or malicious content
• Any other content deemed inappropriate by administrators or moderators

2. Grey Areas

Certain types of content may not fall neatly into prohibited or permissible categories. In such cases, administrators and moderators have the final discretion to determine whether the content is inappropriate.

This ensures flexibility in applying judgment while maintaining community standards.

3. Enforcement Actions

Moderation will be enforced in a tiered approach:

• First violation: Warning notification
• Second violation: Temporary ban
• Repeated or severe violation: Permanent ban

In cases of extreme violations, moderators may skip the warning step and issue a temporary ban directly. However, no immediate permanent bans will be applied solely for content violations.

All inappropriate content that is reported or determined to be in violation will be removed, regardless of the associated enforcement action.

4. Appeals Process

Users may appeal moderation decisions by contacting the moderation team via email. Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of receiving a moderation notice.

There is no strict limit on the number of appeals a user may submit, but excessive or abusive appeals may be disregarded at the discretion of the administrators.

All appeals will be reviewed in good faith, but moderation decisions ultimately remain final.

5. Transparency in Enforcement

Users will be notified when moderation action is taken against their account.

Notifications will include the general category of violation (e.g., harassment, spam) and the enforcement action applied (e.g., warning, temporary ban, permanent ban).

While the specific details of moderation decisions may not always be disclosed, efforts will be made to ensure users understand the basis of the enforcement action.

6. Reporting Content

Users are encouraged to report inappropriate content through the platform's reporting tools.

All reports will be reviewed directly by administrators or moderators. Reports will not be handled through any automated open API processes, but solely by human review.

7. Administrative Discretion and Rare Removals

While most content removal occurs due to user reports or moderation review processes, administrators may, in rare cases, remove content directly at their discretion.

In such cases, the user will still receive a punishment notice. Moderators and administrators act in good faith, but reserve the right to apply final judgment regarding all moderation matters.

8. Record Keeping

Moderation records, including violations, enforcement actions, and appeals, will be retained as necessary for moderation purposes.

These records may be reviewed by administrators at their discretion. Records are maintained to ensure consistency, transparency, and fairness in moderation practices.

9. Liability

Administrators and moderators are not liable for content posted by users. Users remain solely responsible for their own submissions.

Moderation decisions are made in good faith with the intent of maintaining community safety and integrity.

10. Changes to the Moderation Policy

This Moderation Policy may be updated from time to time:

• Minor changes will take effect immediately upon posting
• Significant changes will be communicated to users in advance, with notice provided no later than 10 days prior to implementation
