In Divinity II, players hunt across Rivellon as a Dragon Slayer turned Dragon Knight, mind‑reading NPCs to unlock secrets, customizing a Battle Tower staff, and swapping between sword‑and‑sorcery skirmishes and dragon‑form assaults on flying fortresses. Its human/dragon duality and later definitive bundles helped the game build a cult following that foreshadowed Larian’s rise with later Divinity entries.
